The training needs of school principals in light of the requirements of the educational policy towards a university-based education approach

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the training needs of school principals in the light of the requirements of orientation towards the educational policy of inclusive education, an applied study on the principals of schools applying the policy of inclusive education in the northern governorates - Palestine. The study population consisted of all school principals who applied the inclusive education policy in their schools in the northern governorates - Palestine, during the 2021-2022 school year, whose number is estimated at (89) principals, and given the small size of the study community, the researcher chose the study sample from all the vocabulary of the original community. The study reached many results, the most important of which was that the training needs of school principals in light of the requirements of orientation towards the educational policy of inclusive education came to a large degree, as the relative weights of all axes came in close proportions between (81.2% to 85.2%), and the degree of approval of the study members came On all axes of training needs to a large extent, with a relative weight of (83.72), with a percentage of (83.72%), and the results also showed that there are no differences Statistically significant at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) among the arithmetic averages of the sample members' estimates of their training needs from their point of view, due to the variable: (gender).
