Self-awareness and its relationship to a sense of psychological emptiness among students with manifestations of narcissistic personality disorder at Taif University

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the level of self-awareness of Taif University students with narcissistic manifestation disorder, as well as to reveal the correlation between self-awareness and a sense of psychological emptiness among Taif University students, the researcher used the correlational descriptive approach as the closest approach to the study variables on a sample of (50) students, the researcher used a questionnaire prepared by him on the research sample and the most prominent results reached:  The existence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of Taif University students in the dimensions of self-awareness and the total score, the existence of correlation coefficients for the dimensions of self-awareness and the total degree of feeling of psychological emptiness in all dimensions of self-awareness, the absence of statistically significant differences in the dimensions of physical awareness, cognitive awareness, and the total degree among undergraduate students due to specialization, and the existence of statistically significant differences in the dimension of conscience among Taif University students.
