Abstract

This research aims to verify the effectiveness of a program based on blended learning enhanced with educational infographics in developing some reading comprehension skills appropriate for sixth grade primary school students. The research conducted a survey study on fifteen female students from the aforementioned class. The study showed their weakness in reading comprehension skills. The research used some tools: a list of reading comprehension skills appropriate for sixth grade primary school students, a reading comprehension skills test, a teacher's guide, and a student's book. The research provided an appropriate theoretical framework in four axes that addressed the independent and dependent variable. The research used one experimental group. The research group consisted of ten sixth grade primary school students. The research applied the reading comprehension test before and after. The research answered the main question and its sub-questions. The research reached some important results: The research found statistically significant differences for the reading comprehension skills test as a whole and for each skill separately in favor of the post-application, which confirms the effectiveness of the program in developing reading comprehension skills for the research group. The research presented some important recommendations and suggestions in the field of Arabic language teaching methods.
