Abstract

The objective the current research is to identify the using of the aesthetical approach developing the skills of visual thinking in the middle school students. To achieve this goal, the previous literature and studies on both of aesthetical approach and visual thinking have been reviewed. student’s guide and teacher's guide according to the input of aesthetical approach were prepared for "Geometry and Measurement" unit, visual thinking test was prepared, and then the two research groups were selected. (Experimental – Control) students in the first-year middle school from Abd Elgahny Mahmoud school, conducting a tribal measurement using the visual thinking test, teaching members of the experimental group using the aesthetical approach and members of the control group using the usual method, then making a subsequent measurement, finally collecting data, conducting statistical processing, arriving at and interpreting research results, The research presented some recommendations and suggestions in the light of them , inculuding: Conducting similar studies on primary and secondary school students.
