The educational methods used in modifying the aggressive behavior of kindergarten children in Taif city from the teachers ’point of view

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the educational methods used in modifying the aggressive behavior of kindergarten children in Taif city from the teachers ’point of view. The study population consisted of kindergarten teachers in Taif city. The study was applied to a simple random sample consisting of (140) teachers. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher followed the method. The survey descriptive, and the study tool was prepared, which is a questionnaire, and it was distributed to the sample members, and the results of the study showed a high degree of agreement among the study sample individuals towards the availability of aggressive behavior manifestations among the kindergarten children in Taif, and the presence of a large degree of agreement among the study sample members towards the methods. Also, the results showed that there is a high degree of agreement among the members of the study sample regarding the obstacles to using educational methods in modifying the aggressive behavior of kindergarten children.
The study recommended training children using modern educational methods to defuse their anger in a healthy and healthy way and to create interesting educational games for children through which they can cooperate positively and thus reduce aggressive behavior among themselves, in addition to educating teachers about the importance of not punishing children by physical means if they express their anger in aggressive ways, as recommended. The researcher works to enhance and strengthen the psychological and educational preparation of female teachers in kindergartens in Taif city.
