Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the role of faculty members in promoting the information culture of Kuwait University students in the light of the skills of the twenty-first century. By enhancing students’ information awareness and achieving their aspirations and helping them to complete their practical studies easily, easily and with high efficiency, and then achieving a comprehensive and desirable cultural renaissance for the educational process in the Kuwaiti society. The twenty-first, including: personal skills, academic skills, professional skills, cultural skills, communication skills, skills of using digital technologies, skills for self-learning, and information sharing, that information culture skills are highly relevant and related to the skills of the twenty-first century and the skills necessary for the labor market in the revolution. Fourth Industrial, the role of faculty members is to Enhancing the information culture of students by supervising scientific theses at the postgraduate level, and that a faculty member can enhance the information culture of his students by directing students to build objective judgments about all issues and problems they deal with, and facilitating access to information related to their reality, The study presented some proposals for developing the role of faculty members in promoting the information culture of Kuwait University students in the light of the skills of the twenty-first century.
