Methods of parental treatment and its relationship to psychological adjustment among secondary school students in Jeddah

Abstract

The research is aims to examine the relationship between science, parenting practices and psychological adjustment among secondary school students in Jeddah Governorate. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and two tools were applied: the department scale, the parental treatment in its two forms, the father, and the psychological scale. The study consisted of (323) high school students. And in order to verify the validity of the hypotheses, and the results of the existence of a statistically significant inverse image correlation between the coefficients of the father’s parenthood (Paternality Test) A and the psychological compatibility of the children, as its value was an inverse correlation, the coefficient of the parenting coefficient, the mother’s image (B) and psychological compatibility. He recommended an effective group, the most important of which are: training courses for methods and methods of parenting in universities affiliated with the United Nations, universities; In order to play an effective role in raising awareness of the whole community.
