The common teaching strategies of kindergarten teachers in Taif from their point of view

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the common teaching strategies of kindergarten teachers in Taif city from their point of view. The study population consisted of kindergarten teachers in Taif city. The study was applied to a simple random sample consisting of (113) teachers. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive survey approach, and prepared The study tool, which is a questionnaire, was distributed to members of the sample, and the results of the study showed a high degree of agreement among the members of the study sample towards the degree of availability of traditional teaching methods, cooperative learning strategies, problem-solving and teaching strategies by playing. The study sample towards the level of obstacles to the use of some teaching methods and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (α ≥ 0.05) in the selection of kindergarten teachers for the teaching strategy according to the qualification variable, in favor of graduate studies, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences at Level (α ≥ 0.05) in choosing kindergarten teachers for the teaching strategy according to the variable of the number of training courses. The study recommended enhancing the skills of teachers in kindergartens in the city of Taif in diversifying the use of different strategies and avoiding the method of learning by indoctrination during teaching children and enhancing the skills of teachers within kindergartens in the city of Taif in facilitating the process of cooperation between groups of children and providing adequate workshops and training courses for teachers to train them on.
