Abstract

The aim of the research is to reveal “The Effectiveness of Suggested Enrichment Program Based on The Integrated Approach (STEM) for Developing Generative Thinking in Mathematics for The Talent Students in Secondary Stage”. The research used the experimental design based on one group with measurement (before - after), and the research group consisted of (32) Talent Students in the first grade of secondary in Talent Secondary School for Boys in Ain Shams in Cairo. The Suggested Enrichment program based on The Integrated Approach STEM, Generative Thinking test in Mathematics, and the research tool was applied before and after on the research group, then statistically processing the data.
The results of the research concluded that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.01) between the average scores of the students of the research group in the two applications, pre and post, to test the Generative Thinking skills in favor of the post application. The results showed the effectiveness of two units of the suggested enrichment program in developing the generative thinking skills of the students of the research group. The research recommended the need to reconsider the mathematics curricula at the secondary stage; To be built in the light of the integrative STEM approach; Because of this role to help realize the importance of mathematics, and the importance of its integration with other sciences, and to enter the global competitiveness programs in mathematics.
